SRI LANKA - My Beautiful Motherland 🌍


Sri Lanka is one of the most fortunate countries in the world and i feel truly lucky have been born in this wonderful land.Surrounded by vast Indian ocean, Sri lanka appears on the world map like a small pearl shaped island.This beautiful island is my beloved motherland.Therefore i proudly say that i am a Sri Lanka.

               Although Sri Lanka is a small country in size it is blessed with extraordinary natural beauty.The country is rich with rivers,steams,reservoirs and many other natural resources.Because its breathtaking landscapes and scenic beauty,tourists from many parts of  world visit Sri Lanka every year.As a result the tourism industry of the country has developed rapidly.

                                       Since Sri Lanka is surrounded by the blue waters of th ocean,it has many beautiful coastal areas.The fishing industry has developed greatly around these coastal regions.Beaches such Nilaveli ,Arisimale,Hikkaduwa,Mirissa and Pasikudah attract both local and foreign visitors🏖️ .Many people travel  these beaches enjoy the waves and admire the beauty of the sea.
                             I have also had many opportunities to visit and enjoy some of these beaches.Especially visits to Nilaveli and Arisimale beaches remain unforgettable memories  my life.

Sri Lanka is also  a developing country where many industries growing steadily. Among them coir,fishing,sugar and garment industries play major role in country's economy.In addition,people  different ethnic groups such as Sinhalese,Tamils and Muslims live together  harmony and friendship in this country.Sri Lanka is also land with great religious significance,especially for Buddhism. Many sacred places related  lord Buddha  located here.The temple of the sacred tooth relic in Kandy,Sri Maha Bodhi and Atamasthana in Anuradhapura,Kelaniya temple and Sri Pada are some the most sacred places in the country.

Even though my country is small  size it is rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage.There are many more things i could say about my country but i have shared only few them here.I truly love my motherland❤️,Sri Lanka with all my heart.I sincerely pray that my country will always remain safe and prosperous.

🌍An Unforgettable Journey With My Friends To Anuradhapura 🌍

February 2nd,2026 became one of the most memorable days of my life.On that day my university friends Gayathri 👩, Senuri 👩, and I decided  travel together to Anuradhapura .We planned our trip the previous day and started early in the morning with excitement.I boarded the bus around 7.00 a.m and Senuri joined me on the way.Later gayathri arrived from nochchiyagama and finally all three of us met in Anuradhapura around 9.30 a.m. Wbegan our journey by visiting the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi ,where we offered flowers ,oil lamps and prayers with devotion.Then we went to the magnificent Ruwanwelisaya and spent some peaceful moments in silence and gratitude.  Around 1.00 p.m,we went to a restaurant and enjoyed a delicious full rice meal followed by ice cream.We laughed talked and enjoyed simple moment together.After lunch we went shopping.We selected beautiful bag for Gayathri❜s mother.I bought a purse for my sisters birthday.Later,my friends helped me choose a lovely blouse and we als...
