From Failure To Success: My Journey To Achieving My University Dream 👩‍🎓

The year 2017 was turning point in my life.It was the first time i faced the GCE Ordinary Level Examination.With thousands hopes in my heart and dreams my future, I studied day and night  great dedication.Attending school every day,surrounded by the love and guidance of my teachers,I prepared myself for the first examination of my life.English was subject found difficult,and despite my efforts,I was unable to pass.however the day  results were released,I felt truly happy when I saw my results.I hugged my mother and shared the outcome my hard work with her.My results were A2,B2,C3, and S1.That moment became  first great achievement of my life.

              After that,the next major milestone  my life was the GCE advanced level examination.I chose the arts stream,studying Sinhala,Geography and Drama And Theatre.Since these subjects were not available in my previous school,I transferred to new school and began my educational journey in a new environment.That school became like a third mother me giving me love,care and protection.In 2020,i faced the advanced level examination for the first time.However due my carelessness and lack of proper preparation,I received B1,C1,and W1.It was a major setback in my life and i felt that my dream was slipping away.Therefore to reduce the burden my family and earn money,i decided go Vavuniya and start working.That period was one most difficult times in my life.I was often scolded even for small mistakes and there were many days when i returned home with tears in my eyes.However those experiences taught me valuable lessons about life and i realized that my journey should not end there.

With that realization ,I decided  restart my educational journey.In 2022,i prepared myself to face the Advanced Level Examination again.My mother became my greatest strength,encouraging and supporting me every step of the way.I studied day and night with determination and dedication.That year i received A1,B1 and C1 results.Although it was  improvement,it was still not enough to achieve my ultimate goal entering university.However i refused to give up.With the encouragement teachers,i decided to face the examination one final time.I worked harder than ever before answering past papers,improving my knowledge,and staying fully committed  achieving my dream.

                          Finally in 2023 my hard work paid off.i Was able  achieve A2, and B1 results.It was the greatest achievement  my life.With those results,i qualified  enter the University Of The Visual And Performing Arts 👩‍🎓.That moment was the realization  my biggest dream.Seeing the happiness my parents faces was the greatest reward i could ever receive.

Today when i look back at my life,i understand that failures, tears,obstacles and hardships were all stepping stones toward my success.My journey taught me that failures not come to stop us ,but make us stronger.If we never give up our dreams,success will eventually come to us.Today i am moving forward toward my dream and building my future.This journey taught me one important lesson_🙶Never give up on your dreams.🙷
